Already thinking of riding *bakc* from Loveland instead. So, if we had one of those weird green XO computers could we crank it and use it in the wilds?

Yes you could use an XO in the wilderness, but the crank-up feature was ditched after the first few prototypes. You still have to plug it in. Oh yeah, and you won't find a Starbucks to steal wireless internet access from out in the woods.
